Christina Hodel (director, producer) is currently accepting submissions for Jessie In Reverie a grad student film for the University of Kansas. Jessie in Reverie is the story of a female neurosurgeon—Dr. Jessie— whose day goes bad after she not only loses a pair of gloves on the bus, but a patient while under the knife. Breakdown
Rebecca Jessie, MD (LEAD): Female neurosurgery resident, aged 30-35, who is easily distractible and peeved, with a vivid imagine and ability to begin daydreaming in a snap. An introverted extrovert, usually serious Jessie has the ability to let loose and be wild when the time is right. Curious, emotional and thoughtful, Jessie strives to be the best she can be even in the toughest of times.
Gene Chen, MD (SUPPORTING LEAD): 45-65, male. This Chief of Neurosurgery is a serious and quiet workaholic who has a reputation of making his residents cry just by looking at them. Underneath his calm demeanor, he has a hint of a heart and expresses forgiveness and understanding to Jessie, his top resident who he’s trained from the start.
Ryan (SEMI-LEAD): 10-year-old boy or girl with a heart of gold and a sense of obedience to make anymother proud. Easily timid, but courageous and brave when need be.
Ryan’s Mother (SEMI-LEAD): 40’s with frazzled hair and a motor mouth that can talk a mile a minute. Ryan’s mother is easily distracted but quick to notice and cater to social cues.
Homeless Man (SEMI-LEAD): 40s-50s, male. While dirty, uneducated, nappy haired and with a scraggly beard, he has not forgotten his manners, and still puts others in front of him even in the face of adversity.
Leonardo Da Vinci (SUPPORTING): Early 50s with long white hair and beard. Focused and sure with a special way of twirling his paint brush as he creates his masterpiece: the Mona Lisa.
Walter and Walter’s Friends (Featured): 20+ males and females to play a variety of speaking roles in which they try to convince Jessie to break out of her shell and try something new during some boring down time while snowed in during a figure drawing class in which the figure model is a no-show.
Mr. or Mrs. Schaffer (Featured): 60+ male or female to portray a grumpy and complaining, yet quick-witted and spunky hospital patient.
Museum Security Guard (Featured): 30+, male. A strict and curt museum guard who doesn’t let anyone get close to the Mona Lisa.

VIDEO SHOOTS
Video shoots are the latest marketing tool in the modeling industry. They are being requested by more and more national and international agencies as a way to “see” the models without them actually physically standing in front of them in their office. These shoots are a fantastic way to show agents how a model moves, slates or walks on a runway. It is an innovative way for models to showcase their photo movement, personality and overall physique. We have the ability to post video “comp cards” on our website and a few models that you can currently view on their profile pages are Mary Kate DuBois, Drake Holmes, Abby Goodman, Rachel Dulaney, Jack Lankford and Sydney Crawford. If you are interested in a video shoot, please contact Cara at 913-642-1060 for pricing and scheduling.
YOUR WEBSITE PROFILE INFORMATION
If your photos are currently on the website, it is CRUCIAL that you fill out all profile information on your page (most importantly your ACTIVITIES AND TALENTS).
We use this information for castings and go-sees and you could be missing out if we don't have ALL your information.
In order to obtain your USERNAME and PASSWORD, please contact cara@hoffmanmodels.com.
YOUR PORTFOLIO
Hoffman International has implemented a new policy that requires models to be responsible for keeping their portfolio. Please come to the agency to pick up your portfolio as we will no longer be storing them at the agency. This will make it more convenient for you to take your portfolio with you on go-sees and bookings.
Thank you for your cooperation!
